13. Bob Mould - MM 17
12. Arcade Fire - Wake Up
11. Connor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band - Slowly (Oh So Slowly)
10. Metric - Help I'm Alive
9. Grizzly Bear - Cheerleader
8. The Decemberists - The Rake's Song
7. The Thermals - Now We Can See
6. Doves - Kingdom Of Rust

3. Phoenix - Lisztomania
2. Death Cab For Cutie - Little Bribes
1. U2 - Get On Your Boots (Justice Remix)

I know what you're thinking, WHY THE FUCK IS U2 on the list?!?! I felt the same way, I fucking hate that band, but the key for the number 1 download on the Download 15 this week is the "Justice Remix" part of the song, its not amazing, but it's not horrible. Just give 'em a listen.

What Gets Me Through Today

My Mac
I fucking love this thing, I would probably die if it died. I connect with all my music through this tool, I update this blog through it, I keep in touch with friends and family, I listen to music, I watch movies and read shit, I love howstuffworks.com, I create things, I build things, I own things, I listen to music (have I said that yet? ha)

Bat For Lashes
This band kicks ass especially on a rainy day such as this one.

Censored 2009
This book is a fun read on a rainy day, it shows all the important shit that was censored out of the reporting of the mainstream media. It's a little extreme in some parts, but it's still an interesting read.

Sirius XMPoo
I love Sirius, I really do, but Sirius XMU has been pretty ridiculous lately, it's still a great tool for getting through a shitty day though and that's why its on the list. The Download 15 with Jake Fogelnest is on right now, and I'd have to say that I'm partial on this weeks list with some great tunes, and some...not so great tunes. I can't find ONE blog or publication online that posts the weekly 15 downloads so I'll be sure to post it when its over on this blog.

Teixeira...More Like Doucheira

I just about shit my pants when I heard Teixeira was booed whenever he came up to bat in the Orioles-Yankees game tonight. I guess coming from the bias of being an Orioles fan, I feel that this guy, Mark Teixeira is just the definition of a sellout, I mean he could have come back home, where he grew up, he could live near his family, make millions of dollars, have beloved fans, be close to friends, be involved in the greatest division in professional baseball, AND be apart of a team that put baseball on the map! Although I can see the dismay of joining a team that hasn't had a winning season in a long time, but bad things do come to an end, especially with the help of certain players. Instead, this douche took the offerings of more money and the possible opportunity to win a championship even though the Yankees haven't made the post season in many years either. I'm happy about tonights win over the Yanks even though it was only one game, but thats just it, it starts with one game, and we beat the Doucheira.

I Love You, Man is the Tits!

This movie was great. I loved it as did Rachel. It had the hilarity that the same actors/directors produce in the movies that they were previously involved in (i.e. Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Along Came Polly, Knocked Up, etc) I laughed throughout the whole movie and felt very satisfied with how the movie will keep up with comedies this summer. Paul Rudd was fucking stunning, I didn't realize that he could take a leading role of a movie and let loose the wings of comedy, because he performed above amazing. There are 2 wonderful things that stand out in this movie that I would like to mention, and they include:

1. The trailer didn't show a fraction of the funny parts that were actually in the movie. Sometimes you see a trailer and think the movie looks hilarious or looks super scary (depending on the genre) and then you pay your 10 dollars to go and see the flick and you catch yourself saying "I've seen this in the trailer" and that's all, there is no more funny parts throughout the movie, or the scary parts are no longer scary as you've seen them before. It really ruins a film, and I was happy to see that this movie saved the best for the film. The trailer for this movie was hysterical, but the movie was that and more.

2. Rashida Jones is in the movie. I love this bitch, not only is she gorgeous, she's super funny and super sexy. She was involved in the hit T.V. show "The Office" as the beloved Karen Filippelli as well as "Chappelles Show". She takes on the role of a laid back super cool girl (Rach:) that every guy wants.

Either way go see this movie, it rocks, its funny, great comedy acting, good music, good shit.

Adventureland

I saw "Adventureland" yesterday and if I had to sum of the movie in 2 words, they would be "Me Likey" because this movie is an all around awesome flick. A word of caution, if you think your going to get another "Superbad" or "Knocked Up", you're not, Seth Rogen did not write this haha. Anyway, it is still a good "coming of age" story and the actors/actresses make you care about the characters they play. I won't go into the synopsis so much but this story is about a nerd kid who drinks and smokes weed occasionally. He just graduated college and needs money for graduate school so he gets a job at a shitty amusement park. The summer love story unfolds when he meets a girl (Kristen Stewart) who he works with. See the movie, it's hilarious in it's own way, and it has those lines where you find yourself repeating it with the friends you saw it with and its 10x as funny then.

P.S. Kristen Stewart is super hot in a dark depressing way in this movie, NOT LIKE TWILIGHT, shes like a ghost in that movie.

Listen & Watch

Please take some time to LISTEN to the clip at the bottom of this page, and WATCH the first video on the right about different forms of Government. It's a nice and different look at what we think we know when in reality, we have no idea, we really have...no........idea.
